Earth Work Machine
“Hand cut, wound, filed, and machined.”
Kyle Oxford has been tattooing for 17 years and machining parts for 12. This year he started machining his own tattoo machines under the moniker Earth Work Machine.
I got to hang out with Kyle in his shop over the weekend and film the process and some of what goes into making a tattoo machine from scratch, beginning with raw materials.
This process stuff is intriguing to me, which made it so fun to document and then edit down to a short 5 minute video that offers a peak into Kyle’s story and process.
